Yep, this is an actual thing
This is not a drill people, the ingenious people at McGettigan's JLT, not content with cladding themselves in green and having an all mighty session on the black stuff once a year, have brought to Dubai the brilliant idea of St. Practice Day. A day where you can prepare yourselves for the onslaught St. Paddy’s Day has come. We’re not sure where the idea originated from but after a bit of research, it seems like it’s an actual thing and not just another excuse for an all day sesh (like they need one).
Even though the actual St. Patrick’s Day is many months away this could be a good one to get a babysitter in for as there’ll be live traditional Irish music, dancers and decent beverage deals. You can start proceedings with the Irish themed brunch and, for those still standing, party till the wee hours.
And don’t forget to wear green…
